إن فكرة الهاشتاج كانت مفهومة على نطاق واسع حيث تم استخدامها في تطبيق تويتر في البداية، ولكن لم تتبن أي شبكة ثقافتها وإمكاناتها مثل إنستغرام. عندما تم إطلاق نسختها من علامات التصنيف القابلة للنقر هاشتاغ في 2011، اقترحت الشركة على المستخدمين تجاوز علامات التصنيف العامة مثل #photo أو #good وجعلها أكثر تحديدًا واستهدافًا للوصول إلى مستخدمين آخرين ذوي تفكير مماثل. ساعدت هذه الفكرة الصغيرة عددًا من المستخدمين على التميز من بين الحشود وكادت أن تخلق سيناريو الذروة الذهبية حيث يمكن أن تؤدي علامات التصنيف المحددة المستخدمة في الأوقات المناسبة إلى عدد لا بأس به من الإعجابات والمتابعين الجدد.
سوف يتجادل الناس حول عدد علامات التصنيف التي يجب تضمينها بالضبط، لكن ضع في اعتبارك أن الحد الأقصى هو 30. وعلى عكس تويتر، يمكنك تحرير المنشورات لإضافة علامات تصنيف أو تغييرها. إضافة علامة تصنيف إلى تعليق والحصول على نفس النتيجة.
